A couple’s feud over when to start decorating the house for Christmas has caused them to break up.
The long on-going debate about whether November is too early to start decorating the house for Christmas has ended a 10-year relationship between one couple.
Sam and Louise, both aged 28, could no longer take the argument that they have every year before Christmas about when they could start decorating the house.
Speaking to Pseudo News Louise said: ” I like to start decorating early because it takes away some of the stress from preparing for Christmas.
We don’t have any kids so we tend to go home for the holidays so we don’t get to spend Christmas in our own home.
It’s nice to be able to appreciate the decorations for more than a couple of weeks before Sam makes me take them down again.
I couldn’t take it any longer so I left him and bought my own flat to decorate instead.”
The couple, who have completely cut off all contact from one another, had been dating for 10 years.
Sam was not available to comment as he said he couldn’t be bothered discussing the dispute any more than he already has.
If you think the early Christmas decorating debate is a silly thing to argue over… think again!
