Asda has released a footlong eclair for Christmas and it has already put one man in the hospital.
The customer who purchased the foot long eclair was challenged by his friends to eat as many as he could in 2 minutes.
The 48-year-old managed to consume a shocking 10 eclairs, which resulted in him suffering a heart attack.
He was rushed to hospital last night and is currently in intensive care due to a sugar overdose.
Speaking to Pseudo News, the man’s wife said: “I can’t believe he thought he could eat that many. He said it didn’t even taste that good.
One is enough! Especially as he suffers from diabetes. It’ll be a miracle if he makes it to Christmas.
And if he does there will be no mince pies, only vegetables and fruit for as long as he lives.”
The 12-inch eclair, which is made from airy choux pastry, whipped cream and fluffy Belgian chocolate mousse, only costs £5 and will be available all throughout November and December.
This will be your only chance to buy one as come January they will be removed from the shelves until next Christmas!
But that’s probably for the best otherwise we might not make it to December 2018 at this rate!
